For this weeks Tuesday event, we are playing slow pitch baseball. This exciting game will be welcoming for all ages and will be a great way to spend your afternoon. We will be providing bats and some gloves, but personal gear is welcome. Come join us from 1-3 pm on August 8th.

Prince George Folkfest/Multicultural Society was formed in 1974 as an umbrella organization to create a home base for various cultural groups in Prince George and surrounding areas.
Originally, the Society was intended as a platform for staging a new country-wide multicultural event on July 1 to celebrate Canada’s birthday.
 In 1985 the Society evolved to meet the ever changing  needs and aspirations of the cultural communities it serves. During this process the Society changed its Constitution and Name to Multicultural Heritage Society of Prince George.

The Society’s expanded mandate includes implementation of the Federal and Provincial policies of multiculturalism and the promotion of cross-cultural relations. We are particularly committed to furthering the relationship between culture, heritage and public education in order to ensure the full participation of all individuals in the community.
